Due diligence process for buying land
Whether your building Modular or conventional, before committing to the project you must do your due diligence. We have compiled a list of important items that must be checked before you start. We at FL Modular would be more than happy to provide these services upon request. Please note that not all projects are the same and other items may be required to build.
Survey/elevation certificate
$150/square foot for the home and approximately $30/square foot for site work. Keep in mind that every site is different and costs may vary depending on many factors.
Verify Plans with local
Building/Zoning Department
Every municipality has their own by laws. Some easier to deal with than others. Some city's may take some time to get back to you or have a very long wait time for permit approvals and site inspections. Insure that you can build what you imagine by submitting them a preliminary site plan for approval. One can be quickly prepared by our team with the survey.
Soil Test
